Stowaway discovered in parked Nigerian aircraft

The administration of United Nigeria Airways says a middle-aged man was apprehended and brought for interrogation after he was discovered on a parked aircraft in the early hours of Sunday.

Achillus Chud-Uchegbu, the airline’s spokesman, stated this in an announcement on Sunday in Lagos.

Mr Chud-Uchegbu stated that the unidentified man was unconscious and discovered through the preflight inspection whereas the aircraft was now being screened and ready for service after the alleged stowaway was taken away.

The spokesman revealed that because of the breach, some flights may be affected because the airline must be rescheduled to accommodate the investigation.

The assertion stated; “Throughout preflight inspection this morning, a stowaway was discovered in one among our aircraft parked at MMA2 Ikeja.

“The center-aged man, who seemed unkempt and is suspected to be unconscious, was arrested and brought in for interrogation.”

The aircraft final operated Abuja-Lagos at 7.30 p.m. on September 3 and was securely parked on the apron following a post-flight inspection.
